The Department of Anaesthesiology at Maharaja Suhel Dev Autonomous State Medical College and Maharishi Balark Hospitals, Bahraich, plays a vital role in ensuring safe and effective perioperative care. The department provides comprehensive anaesthesia services for various surgical specialities, including general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, and emergency procedures. It is equipped with modern anaesthesia workstations, multiparameter monitors, and advanced airway management devices. The department is actively involved in the academic training of MBBS students through lectures, skill-based workshops, and clinical postings. Undergraduate students are taught the basics of anaesthesia, preoperative evaluation, airway management, resuscitation techniques, and patient monitoring.
